For those of you who are sniffing roses, moaning at the taste of chocolate covered strawberries melting in your mouth, or have misty eyes after opening your Valentine’s card, I interrupt your sentimental moment to wish you Happy Valentine’s Day.
As the author of dozens of romance novels, it’s always challenging to create a unique perfect proposal. As a matter of fact, it’s mind boggling.
Case in point, my latest release, LOVE BY DELIVERY, was supposed to be my 2017 Valentine’s novella. My editor wasn’t buying my character, Ashton Taylor, could hold off until Valentine’s Day to propose, so here is my new almost Valentine’s Day release LOVE BY DELIVERY. Who says love can’t come in a gift wrapped box?
Senior Accounts Manager Dominique Hayes has it all—money, a car and a condo. Well, almost. She’s starting to believe love has passed her by. One thing for sure, she can’t hurry God, so she continues to wait while losing hope that a special Godly man will ever make his appearance.
Package Courier Ashton Taylor knows a man who finds a wife finds a good thing. Standing in his way of finding the right woman is his long work hours. Or maybe not.
A chance meeting changes everything. When love finally comes knocking, will Dominique open the door and accept Ashton’s special delivery?
To me, COUPLE BY CHRISTMAS has the most romantic proposal I’ve written from my arsenal of 30 titles. Big sigh. Yeah, it was a good one. Instead of overdosing on those Hallmark movies tonight, pick up one of my Christmas romances, and let me know which one you think had the best proposal scene:
COUPLE BY CHRISTMAS
LOVE BY DELIVERY
REDEEMING HEART
CROWNING GLORY
WHAT GOD HAS FOR ME
GUILTY OF LOVE
THE KEEPSAKE
A NOELLE FOR NATHAN
A WOMAN AFTER DAVID’S HEART
NO EASY CATCH
You may carry on. Big grin.
